Gryphdex

Our data — sources, basis, verification

This page explains where Gryphdex's game data comes from, on what basis it is computed, and how it is verified. Every numeric page follows the same principles.

What we cover

  • Core data for units, enemies, stages, and gacha — stats, forms, abilities, drops, memberships
  • Community tier grades and growth priority / talent order recommendations
  • Unit evaluation prose — computed results written out as sentences

Sources and licenses

Core data is collected from public references that organize in-game values (public APIs and community wikis), then cross-checked against each other. We collect values only — never sentences or images.

  • Battle Cats Wiki (miraheze) — CC BY-SA 4.0. Reuse of data items derived from this wiki follows the same terms.
  • Public fan database APIs — used to collect and cross-check machine-readable values.
  • Community tier lists — we carry only the grades that regional communities assigned. Original review sentences are never stored, and each page states the game version of its source.
  • Growth recommendations — judgments from Korean, Japanese, and English guides aggregated as axes, never as copied sentences, with cross-language agreement shown per item.

If you operate a source and would like attribution changed or removed, contact us — we will act promptly after verification.

Computation basis

  • Stats are not single stored values but a composition of a basis (level, treasure progress) and growth curves. The default basis is Lv30 with 300% treasure, and pages that show numbers state their basis.
  • DPS is attack divided by attack cycle; cost efficiency is DPS divided by cost.
  • Percentile bars show rank within the whole unit population, not a share of the maximum.
  • Community tiers are never merged into one scale — sources use different scales, so grades are shown side by side per region.

Verification and updates

  • Every number quoted in evaluation prose is recomputed from source data at build time — a mismatch stops the release.
  • When a collected value contradicts game data, game data wins and the collected value is discarded.
  • When source data updates, every page updates with it, and each page shows its data-as-of date.

Report an error

If you spot a wrong number, translation, or grade, please contact us. Reports are verified against source data before being applied, and data accuracy reports are handled first.
